The Cabin Weekend

It was a week before Zach was leaving to Chadron, Nebraska for college. He has a wrestling scholarship over there, because he is amazingly good at wrestling! We went up with his family to his cabin in Idaho and spent a couple of nights there! On the way there, Zach and I got pulled over in Yellowstone because I was leaning over towards Zach and the officer thought I didn't have my seat belt on! This had been the 2nd time I've gotten pulled over with Zach!
The first day there we went into Driggs, Idaho so Syd (his dad) could buy a pontoon. After he had bought it, we went into town to eat some lunch, we went to this barbeque restaurant that was very good! If I could remember the name I would totally recommend it! It had a burger challenge and Zach was all for it! Food challenges are his favorite! He had to eat a two one pound patties with two huge hamburger puns, including a basket of fries. The burger was so well-done, it was hard for Zach to chew! He completed the challenge but towards the end Zach would hand me the veggies from his burger or pieces of his burger to throw on the floor! We went back to the cabin and took a little rest and then went for just a little four wheeler ride! Lucky it wasn't muddy! But the next day it had rained and we all decided to go four wheeling, bad decision to let me drive one of them! We started going up this big hill and of course I got stuck! Syd had to help me up the hill, kind of embarrassing! Zach and I went of riding as Syd, Kim and the girls drove off somewhere else. As Zach and I were driving we approached another hill and Zach told me I had to gun it. Wellll I gunned it a little too close to Zach and I got covered, I mean COVERED in mud! from head to toe, in my hair to in my shoes. It also covered the entire four wheeler as well. As Zach was spitting mud back at me, I held the break and waited for Zach to get up the hill, he came back for me not realizing what he ad done, and once he saw me he couldn't stop laughing. He apologized but laughed as he did it. It was hilarious but a little discomforting being covered in mud. We rode around and tried to find our way back when we found Syd! We followed him down the big muddy hill where I got stuck AGAIN. Me, mud, and four wheelers do not mix well. We rode back to the cabin and I got to take a lovely shower to get all the mud off of me.
The day after we went boating and it was a beautiful day! Zach and I went tubing first and Syd did not go easy on us! my hands were cramping because of the grip I had to stay on the tube! The only time Syd got us to flip the tube, we flew in the air and coming down Zach's foot smacked my head, I had a headache and a goose egg the rest of the day. The whole time I was there it was so much fun to bond with his family and to spend more time with them than I already do ;) We went on many four wheeler rides, hiked, roasted marshmallows, boated, and watched movies at night, It was the perfect end to a perfect summer!
