Zach didn't come to school one day but he decided to bring me lunch to school. He brought me two cheese quesodillas and we sat in his car and talked. He slowly brought into conversation about him and I. This is his exact words, "So where do you think this is going?" (He thought that was asking me out) I told him I wanted to take it slow because I didn't want to rush anything after my past relationship and it not working out. He wasn't very happy about it and started calling me his "make-out buddy," and if I wanted to date him, I had to ask him out... I dealt with "make-out buddy" for about 3 days and I thought to myself that I would rather be known as his girlfriend than his make-out buddy. But I still wasn't sure what I wanted. It was March 24th, a Monday and after dance i went and hung out with Zach at Billy's. We hot tubbed and watched a movie and he made me so happy. But when I got home I felt uneasy about dating him. So I text him and was hoping he was asleep so he wouldn't get the text till morning but he wasn't. I just let him know I was uneasy about him and I and didn't know if I actually wanted it to go anywhere. He was super upset when he received the text and was not happy. He told me I had to make a decision by tomorrow or he was gonna be done with me. So the next day rolls around and I pull up to the seminary building and Zach was already there. He text me to go get in his car and talk and I text him back and said "Hold on I'm eating breakfast" I honestly was too nervous to go talk to him. After I ate I went into his car and we talked for a little bit, and we stopped talking for about 30 seconds and then I said "Zach will you go out with me?" Probably the lamest way to ask someone out but i didn't want to risk my chances at losing him because he was the sweetest guy I have ever met.
About two weeks after dating it was General Conference. Zach came all the way out to my house, 15 minutes away from his, and picked me up to watch it at his house. On our way back, we were heading into Ralston and we got pulled over! I couldn't stop laughing and Zach was freaking out. We come to find out that he got pulled over because the tint on his windows is illegal. It was a waste of 30 minutes. Anyways, Conference was wonderful as always and its when Zach and I took our first picture together as a couple!
